Snow Driving!

I work from home most days but yesterday had to pick my Mum up from Heathrow. Her plane landed at 6.25am. So I had a great drive there through the snow in the RAV, it performed fantastically well. The 4WD gives a lovely reassurance to the whole thing. Went out again today and felt perfectly at ease on the slippery back roads. Nice and gentle, low gear, high revs with very soft throttle control and the car was fine. Just steer clear of the other muppets on the road who either drive ridiculously slow despite the road being clear or drive like an idiot. I saw at least 2 people in FWD drive cars zoom past me on the third lane of the M4 in the early hours yesterday. The third lane not having been used had a decent layer of snow. God only knows what would have happened had they dabbed their brakes. Be careful out there folks!

The other way round works a little safer unless you are trying to burn through the snow to the road underneath!!

Problem is that while you may be in control, there isn;t a force field that stops out of control drivers crashing into you
