like farhan said thre really isnt much of a differnce between the two, farhans CTS and the CTR had similar mods aswell... Farhan lemme know when you wanna do sumin agen loll my mate got the superstreet coilovers fitted and a short shifter took it for a drive n it drives sweet....really after that TRD short shifter right now ima hopefully get it on the 6th when i get paid. Probs gonna need some help from you to fit it. Ima be paying fensport £197!! delivered.

Back to the topic loll the CTR is alot more easily tunable in my opinion as theres alot more available out there for that car..would recommend CTS as its not so common and not much speed differencee.

If You want to beat CTR You need to buy trd lightweight flywheel and that can help to do that.I have videos against standard CTR a have a friend who has that and i could beat him in track days in the straight and we did some acceleration videos also in the street.Chock this:

But I did drag against modded 220hp CTR and until 100km/h i was faster, but after that he beat me.

Or just buy a final gear set and You will beat the standard type r:

I don't have, but here's the GUy who has close transmission in his TS:

...,but not really sure to recommend with ts compressor, cause the bigger torque the wheels will spin in the 1st and the 2nd gear.

emsii - Im getting a 2.5" cat back system done in April but i am changing my cat to a sports cat so may make a bit of difference!! But all the garages said i wouldn't loose power with a 2.5" system but you would with anything higher.

Same size exhaust all the way in a n/a car, isn't good.

That is probably why its so hard to find aftermarket exhaust for our rollas.

But let us know did it make any difference.

From reading review sites there aint much difference between the dc5 and the rolla. On one site it says the dc5 as 187bhp and has less tourqe than the cts aswell but the dc5's are lighter close match but i think the rolla would whooooop your ***** :D

hahaha.. the DC2 is 187bhp and hits 60 in 6.5 sec which is !Removed! impressive for a 1.8... The DC2 is 1140kg in weight which helps.. :)

The DC5 has 220 bhp i believe... and a bigger engine.. ;)

see you in my rearview...lol!

jk, DC is a respected car, but honestly its not going to be that much faster if anything in a straight line compared to a CTS, its just the weight advantage really for the DC...but a few mods either way and it would be fairly equal.

I had a play a while back with a DC2, there were three people in the DC2 and only me and a friend. I pulled about a cars length on it but there was nothing really between us. If we were running equal weight i reckon it would be neck on neck. But its difficult because both cars need good drivers. Working with narrow power bands is difficult, The type rs and t-sports are more drivers cars, The power is not there throughout the band and you have to work to get the best out of it. Which in my opinion is great. You start to enjoy the driving much more, keeping your shifts accurate, knowing which gear to drop it into and also when coming out of bends how to get back into the power band quickly. For everyday driving it can get annoying not having as much low down torque because if you put your foot down to the redline your just blowing past everyone. But it does make you a better driver you know when to put your footdown and most times you dont really bother untill you get withdrawal symptons haha!

Excuse my ignorance but what the hell is a DC2?
