Brake Discs/parts Guarantee

does anybody know if theres a parts guarantee on any work done by toyota?

had my front discs done under warranty about 7 months ago, and havin read previous posts, toyota discs are crap......they are corroding like theres no tommorrow having done about 7-8000 miles maximum

just curious before i start looking at better quality replacements

The disc will corrode around the central hub, that will not be covered under warranty, it is a lump of cast iron and iron rusts. The parts are warranted for 12 months, so if they were to warp/break etc then they would be replaced no problem, but you wont get them changed if it is just the central hub that has gone rusty, get the wheel off and paint the central hub with hammerite if you dont like the look

cheers for that, had a chat with service dept today, getting mot done next week so they will road test and do a break balance test, this will show if they are warped, if this is case they said will be replaced

they are also going to rebalance all the wheels, have to say this car has been a t**t in terms of getting the wheel balance correct
