Hi,

Im having my car serviced by a friend of the family, who is a veteran in car mechanics etc. But im not. SO - what service items should i be thinking of getting before i hand the car to him?

I am fitting a K&N induction kit/filter on thursday so thats that out. But what about stuff i've seen on Fennsport like:

*TRD performance Oil Filter (£18),

*Fuel Filter (£21.50)(dont know if this is a job for toyota?)

*Spark Plugs (platinum £25.00)

etc etc

Any suggestions?

Also seen magnecor leads, £5mm£62.50 or 8mm£52.50 - dunno which will be right for my car?)

TRD gearknob: £20.00

Dizzy:- £29.95

Rotor Arm:£5.75

Cambelt - if it hasn't been done yet, and you don't know when it was last changed.... just to be sure.....

Examine the brake pads......

Gearbox oil - MT90 I believe, quite expensive. The best is the all synthetic stuff from Fensport.

Fuel filter - your mechanic should be able to fit this
