Same here, its all dirty! I need to wait till all the snows gone :)

I just do mine at the local garage cos it does it pretty well and you can wax it there too. If u wana make it shine, ive heard from a few ppl (one of which polished funeral cars for a living lol) said that this is the best car polish around:

I won't let anyone else wash my aygo, so i do it myself using:

autoglym shampoo

Followed by Autoglym Aqua Wax

On the dashboard i use armourAll MATT dash wipes (make sure you use the MATT as the gloss gives too much reflection)

These can also be used on metal and all plastic parts of the car.

I can't wait to wash my car; the car wash at work is broke sooo I need to do it myself.

Then followed by the mers wax and polish :) and then polish and shine up the alloys; it really needs a good clean tbh! and to think I was going to go for white alloys. They would be yellow by now :o

lol i normally go to homebase where they poles clean it they do a good job but they always stand on my tyres to reach the roof and end up putting teent weeny scartches on the paintwork where their coats have rubbed against it lol...maybe im just too particular now ive got a new car again! lol

Our cars need a clean too, but I can't bring myself to do it while it's so cold!

Forget washing it in this weather, I washed the windows off this morning and the water started to freeze on them :ffs:

Because the Aygo gets so dirty so quickly, is there anything you can do to stop it getting so dirty? I considered mudflaps but many people have said they make no difference. Might sound stupid I know, but I want a clean car :)

Thanks

Keep it in the garage :D

Honestly in this weather I think you have no hope keeping it clean

I think the back end of the Aygo forms a vacuum when moving and just sucks up all the dirt as you drive past/through it, Just be pleased that it's got a rear wiper(stupidly small, but it works) so you can see behind you.

I'll wash mine once the winter is over :P

I idealy you need a pressure washer and a foam lance which will remove most of the dirt more can be found a www.detailingworld.co.uk I am on it and called RosswithaOCD lol

Does anyone else get a dirty patch the size of a credit card ahalf way up the back edge of the rear doors ?

Regards

Andy

If you mean halfway up the lower rear edge, then yes.

Looking at the spot on my Aygo I suspect is from water running down

the door, meeting wind flowing up over the ledge of the rear wheel arch.

got it done at good ole homebase eventually by the good ole poles!! :) and got told off by mother for using the 'good hoover' outside!! oopsy haha x
