Glanza Turbo Lump Into A Paseo

Hi all I am new to the world of toyotas, but I have some plans for my 1.3 paseo. Basically I heard that the paseo and starlet running gear was the same, and my question is how easy or difficult is it to put the 1.3 turbo lump into my car. I'm hoping things will be along the lines of, if I found a crash damaged glanza could I literally just import the engine, ecu, brakes and all onto my chassis or are there bigger modifications involved?

Any advice would be great, oh and if anyone has a crash damaged glanza lying around I might be very intrested!!

Cheers Geordie Jim

Yep, sounds about right

It's virtually a straight swap - even the engine mounts don't need adjusting. You'll need the Glanza ECU of course, AND you'll have to find somewhere to fit the intercooler.

Don't worry about it !

There's loads of useful ( and useless ) info on these pages - sometimes takes some determined searching though !
