compared to some Pimp My Rides it was fairly normal...

4.1 FIVE DOOR (!!!) - was a real heap and been rear-ended as well

Resprayed in two-tone silver (lower) and black (upper) - looked quite nice, I thought

Custom seats and interior in red leather - bright, but not bad at all.

Rear screens in head rests

I didn't like the chocolate fountain personally, but the big screen inside the bonnet was quite interesting (how long that would last from the heat from the engine I don't know though!)

Not sure if I got anything left to do to mine, Stew.

Add in the steering wheel audio controls (am starting to miss that), and maybe a rear screen connected to the kenwood for occasional rear passenger use to watch DVDs.

A cardboard bodykit and the fitted a 32" widescreen tv in the back, then the put some 20" bling bling spinners on it and added some tiger skin seat covers, they then got some sticky bacl plastic and made some new interior parts such as door cards and dashboard, they took out the rear seats to make room for a HUGE sub, the enclosure was made from Polly Filler I think.. or it could have been more sticky back plastic. They finnished off by painting it with dulux one coat emulsion useing a roller......

I prefer watching Overhaulin' :)

you were watching a different episode to me :D

but in principle, you are right. Lot of the Pimps are total rubbish.

oh yes - one other thing to the RAV4 - 22" bling chrome wheels (yukk!)

Thanks LH

And yes - they are all repeated often.

I prefer the US version as they tend to go further than the conservative approach in the UK.

From what you guys have written, I'm trying to lighten the number 1 so addition al bling is out!!

As an update on my latest 1/4 miles efforts, the latest and best result was last Sunday....

0-60 foot in 2.009 seconds;

Terminal/speed at end of the 1/4 mile = 93.4mph

1/4 mile time = 14.797 seconds

So

an improvement following increasing turbo boost to 14psi and advancing the ignition.

The CT26 turbo is capable of a little more, but the ecu is running the engine pig-rich at high revs..hence a drop off in torque

so I reckon we need to fit a programmable ecu to sort that out - Apexi Power D-Jetro is the one I need so I'm advised
