Squeaking Noise When Breaking

I get squeaking noise when breaking. Went to the dealer and they replaced the pads and discs, but I still get the noise. Any ideas? Did they really changed the pads and discs, or they just wanted to get rid of me?

the car has 9K miles.

Under normal usage disc brakes should not squeal in use. You got the dealer to solve a problem, they didn't, take it back and tell them to put it right.

hello

normally they were to put used parts into your car (!) -- it is normal practice in the Ukraine.

But visually you can check with all discs and pads in ccase of alloys installed.

Maybe they changed the fronts and the noise is from the rears? Take it back and tell them it's not right.

If your Avensis is an early 2003 new model version, then this is a known "feature" fixed by the dealer installing shims between the brake pads and pistons on the front brakes. Search the forum for the resolution.
