Hi,

I was hoping that someone would bebale to help me with an issue that i have w/my 2000 avalon.

I just bought it approx 3 weeks ago, and before i did i brought the creeking noise to the attention of the dealer. this noise (sounds like an old floor board being walked on) only occures when accelerate after i come to a full stop . I brought it in to be fixed they said they repaired it by replaceing the sway bar link and corresponding on both sides of the front. Ok its still makes the noise mainly now when the car is totally warmed up but not as loud now.... does anyone have any clue? can it be the bushings, struts,or something else.

desperate in new jersey.

thank you

There should be a rubber exhaust mounting block on the front pipe, with a welded pin on the front pipe going into it.

Remove the rubber block and smear the pin and the inside of the block with a little silicon grease - should cure the noise.

:D Hi and thanx for your reply.

The rubber exhaust mounting block on the front pipe<---- the sway bar they just replaced? It kinda sounds like it comes mostly from the drivers side i think.

Im sorry to ask questions but i dont want to go to the dealer with them thinking I have noclue what im talking about, and them trying to get over on me.

other then that annoying noise my car is just wonderful!!!

It makes me very sad and angry :censor: :ffs:
