Hi all,

Today I have had a little too much time on my hands and I have been searching for ECU's for ages but they don't seem to be in existance. I've searched Jap ECU's, ECU's and re-mappign services, but no-one supplies ECU's and most garages seem to dislike Toyotas because they apperantly have odd and overly-complicated ECU's.

Does anyone here know who may be able to either re-map the standard chip or give me a new one for performance?

Are u talking about aftermarket ecu's or standard one's ?

Aren’t all aftermarket ecu's generic ? so you could use any aftermarket ecu

hey mate there are 2 options to my knoledge

1- get the GREDDY e-manage blue and buy the harness wich is a plug and play and most people can map them up

2- or you can go for the much cheaper option of a piggy back chip made by IKON wich will run any 4age engine . costs £200 from fensport . if you just fit it you only get 8 bhp increase but you can map it up if you throw some cams in and get it mapped your looking at around 20-40 bhp increase depending on cams

dont bother with the ikon its a waste of money. i had one it isnt mappable and it dosnt gibe any noticable gains

Yeh it seemed to be a lot of cash for such small gains!
