I'd like to know some possible engine swaps for my 2000 celica. I'm looking at a 91 nissan 300zx tt motor, but i think that i'd have some trouble retrofitting it to the fwd celica. If anybody has any ideas on what engines would work best, It would really help me out.

WHOOOAAA!! Steady on fella, i'm not that familiar with the Gen7 celica, but i reakon u'll be strugglin to get that nissan lump under there, especially transversely.

I'd just go for a Blitz supercharger, and a nice high psi pulley to bring in the horses B)

Oh dear oh dear

Engines swaps

Im 99% sure the zx engine isnt going to fit transversly in the celica so you would have to make it RWD and doing so to a celica is going to cost more than a second hand ferrari 355.

And at the end of the day is it worth it?

If your really going to swap the engine on the celica (would be better to dump the celica and buy a car that already has the performance you want) you should for sure go for either the 3sgte rev3 @ 255bhp (potential of almost 1000bhp) stock or stick the supercharger onto the existing engine and boost your way up to 300bhp.
