Hi

Just wanting other peoples advice and what would you do:

Had my Aygo go in on monday for a 1yr service and Leaking seal and carpets replaced.

Picked up on Friday and :

1) There's a scratch on my passenger back panel.which wasn't there before as i'd cleaned it on sunday and would've noticed.

2) Also they haven't given me any report/paperwork for the service they gave me a pre printed sheet which they're suppose to fill in but nothing has been done.

3)Also they haven't stamped my service book.

number 2 + 3 aren't major but wondering if they have done the service as it's on service plan i haven't had to pay.

But what would you do about Number 1? as i can't prove it was them.

Thanks for your opinions

Go back to them asap and stand your ground, the longer u leave it the less likely they are to believe it was them who caused the scratch and not you

I would say that getting the service stamp is very important , for warranty reasons. The oil should be a very light goldish colour, practically colourless, if it has been changed. The oil change is the vital part of the 10000mile service.

Sloppy all round and worth a complaint in writing to the Dealer Principle cc'd to Toyota HQ.

We had a service a couple of weeks ago, not only did we get all the paperwork, but the service receptionist sat down with my wife and explained everything that had been done, what was on the invoice etc etc. Since then we have had a questionnaire and a phone call asking if everything is OK following the service.

I'd disagree, this should be all computerised. However it is important for selling your car later to a third party.
