hi there, i have a 58 reg aygo blue, i am really pleased with it apart from a few things like the glove box opening itself and the light not coming on when the passengerdoor is open. But also, i am getting about 310 miles to a tank, this seems a little low what does everyone else get please?

thanks

You need to read THIS THREAD for the gloveox fix

Not sure about your MPG, somebody with an Aygo will be along soon, how do you calculate it? Fill to fill is best

Throw the glove box lid in the bin to reduce weight and improve mpg. I did. :D

Do you refill when it starts flashing ? That means you have done about 7 gallons so 310/7 is 45mpg which is ok if you drive it zippily. If you drive like Maria out of the Sound of music you should hit 400.

I just fitted a ScanGuage to my car, you'd be amazed how much lighter you are with the throttle when you can see the numbers drop as soon as you try to go faster.

I don't know how many miles to a tank, because I don't wait that long..

But in winter time I get 45-46mpg.. in September/October it was more like 52-53mpg and that's what I'm expecting to get once the winter is over.

In my case there is hardly any motorway driving so no chance for 62mpg like Toyota specifications say.

Hi normal driving to work shoping etc I get 400 miles to the tank . On a run 500 miles is possable . I have a scangauge but I find the Rev counter is by far the best thing to use to get good MPG . Before I got the rev counter I to was not getting very good MPG . I find between 3000 and 4000 RPM is where its at.

yes i do fil up as soon as it starts flashing which isd normally always at 310 miles. i'll think about the rev counter thanks! i guess it is winter so i have lights and heater on constantly!

I usually do about 550 to 600km between fillups when I go by the gauge,

but the last couple of weeks I just fillup every monday night, since

I pass a Belgian fuel station then, which is about €0,07 per liter

CHEAPER than the cheapes Dutch stations...

Last night I did a fillup after allmost 2 weeks for €1,15 per liter,

while my collegue filled up that day for €1,40 per liter (V-Power

at a highway-station which is usually about 10% more expensive).

My average MPG is displayed in my signature, this is the average over

ALL of my fillups in the last 29 months and over a distance of 51.011km

I put the MPG (Imperial) icon up here especially for you all in the UK...

On other (mainland) forums I use this icon:

Max to a tank (of diesel) was 537 miles before the light came on. I usually get 420 - 470 miles per tank though

Normally I get 400 miles with the icon flashing like mad when I fill up (normally always put 35 litres in it). I've had 420 and 350, I think this is between 45 and 52mpg. Mine now has 23000 miles on it.
