Oh.. that sucks then.. I can forget about fitting 175/55 or 175/60 tyres on those :(

If you're after wider tyres:

I believe you can fit 185/55 R14 on them.

I think somebody on here has done it.

I'm afraid you can't do that. I have Yaris 5.5in rims for my 185/55 tyres. You cannot put those on a 4.5im rim, and really 6in would be optimal for most 185/55s.

There are no reasonable wider tyre options for the 4.5in rim that I have found.

How much does the turbine wheel weigh? I've wondered if its heavier (including tyre) than the Aygo sport alloys for ages. I'll put mine on the scales and report back. Cheers !

You could probably squeeze a 175 on there but it would be a bit constrained, a 165 would be better but then again you might throw out your diameter.

I guess I could weigh one of my wheels ... they are sitting in the garage ...
