My car is an Avensis 1.8se with a 7A-FE engine does anyone have a k&n kit fitted to a 7A-FE engine?

I know there is an off the shelf kit for the 4A-FE, are they the same engine excluding the displacement?

Would appreciate any help anyone could give.

Hi, I don't think K&N are making a kit yet fore the 7A-FE engine, well not for the celica with the same engine:(.

Another option would be to buy a cone filter that fits onto the end of your pipe work, on the celica ST its 63mm ,hope thats some help.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH A CONE FILTER

IF ANYTHING THEY WILL REDUCE PERFORMANCE

MOST FACTORY FITTED AIR FILTER BOXES PULL COLD AIR FROM THE FRONT OF THE CAR EITHER FROM BEHIND THE GRILL,FRONT LIGHT OR INNER WING (NOTE THE WORD COLD AIR)

A CONE FILTER USUALLY HAS NO DIRECT FEED FOR COLD AIR AND SOME HAVE A SMALL DIAMETER FLEXI HOSE PIPING COLD AIR FROM THE FRONT ,BUT THESE ARE RARLEY EFFECTIVE,SO THESE FILTERS END UP DRAWING WARM OR HOT AIR DIRECT FROM THE ENGINE BAY

AND WARM AIR CAUSES A DECREASE IN POWER DUE TO VARIOUS LONG WINDED EQUATIONS

IF YOU DONT BELIVE ME LOOK AT MOST FACTORY RALLY CARS

AS THEY USE A HUGE AIR BOX AND FILTER DRAWING COLD AIR FROM THE FRONT OF THE CAR
