Hid Bulb Swap Query

I've just taken delivery of HID xenon replacement bulbs described by the vendor as a 'direct replacement for the standard bulbs'. However, when swapping them over, I noticed that the standard bulbs fitted are rated 53W low beam and 60W main, while the replacement bulbs are rated 55W and 65W. Before I send them back, does anyone know if the 14W total extra power draw would cause any Battery drain or other electrical problems?

Won't be a problem at all, if left on with the engine off the Battery will go flat a bit quicker but they will work fine and will not overload anything.... I replaced some standard bulbs with 100w on a previous car and had no problems with them....

They will not be HID bulbs by the way if they were you would need the ignitors for them, they will be halogen with a blue tinge....

Thanks for the reply Pete. The packaging is in Chinese, but it has the English words 'HID' and 'xenon Blue' on it. Perhaps it says 'HID-style bulbs' in Chinese and they are in fact Halogen!
