Avencis 1999 Electrical Problem ?

Hi all, hope someone here can help. My Avencis 1999 1.6 ltr saloon.

The problem: Only Recently when I use the remote to lock the car the doors lock, and the indicators front and rear flash then the indicator lights on the passanger side stay lit up.

I have tried to lock the car with key in lock, still the same.

I have noticed that after a 10 mile trip all is ok. It seems that having driven for more than ten miles the problem occours

these cars come with double locking

pressing the key twice will cause the indicators to stay on for about 2 secs.

when you press the key once (lock)

what do the indicators to ?
