Radiator Leak

Hi everyone,

My car's got a coolant issue. I can not locate precisely the leaking spot, but it seems to be on the top of the radiator.

Can someone please indicate on this picture some well-known weak spots on aygo rads ?

There is usually flakes of white (or other light coloured residue left behind at the source of the leak. There is a product called RADWELD, which you simply pour into the radiator and it seals small holes. You should be able to find it halfrauds.

Not too sure that Halfords have stores in France, but I am sure that there is an equivalent motor spares supplier available where Radweld can be purchased

This happened to my radiator a few months back (slow leak), had it replaced under warranty

The Aygos rads leak from the top and bottom tank joints. As said above you will see where the coolant is leaking as there will be white/pink powder residue.

If still in warranty get it replaced and have them check the water pump while they are at it, they are know to leak (modified pump now available)

My problem is now fixed. My water level was well beyond max, that's why water was leaking when driving.

I'm glad I've not had my rad repaired and fixed the problem all by myself.
