Alternator Belt...

91 Turbo, alternator belt only squeeks(squeels) when wet for maybe 10 seconds... Is it too tight, not tight enough... I put some belt dressing on, and it squeeked a little too... it happens every time it gets wet... washing or rain...

Dead common this is, mine does it too in the winter or after a lot of rain. I even know people who wash their MR2's with the engine running because of this!...lol.

Does it hurt the belt at all??? EX: Keep a belt in the trunk bad, or ill know before it totally craps =-P

Replace it, clean/degrease the pulleys, tension them properly.
