No, unless someone wants to bring a generator ;)

So no glass bottles on the site except for spirit bottles? That has to be the silliest rule ever.

Pour your wine into a vodka bottle and it is fine. Crazy.

I think its due to beer bottles etc to encourage cans! And wine you can take in boxes!

As there seems to be a BBQ I assume as well as bringing the BBQ we have to bring food to put on it as well and everyone mucks in? Sorry if this is dumb but I am not sure what the etiquette is for these events?

Well in Sainsbury's today, I saw red wine in plastic bottles - the 2l water bottles actually.

Thought I was dreaming at first, but it definitely was!

What ever drink I choose to have, I will stick it in a plastic bottle...even if it is morgans spiced rum ;)

Very good point Hou.

I bet in Scotland you can get spirits in cans and boxes too ! :D

Have we got anything sorted with BBQ's yet, or is there only me and Les bringing them?

Spoke to Fizz and he cannot get the time off so unsure if he will make it at all

Anyone needing tickets you are running out of time!

I can bring a BBQ if wanted, looks very much like the foldaway one in the other thread.

Cool thats good, takes the BBQ total to 3 at the minute!

only 3!!!!!! Gonna be busy bbq's....................................

I know, but no one else seems fussed at the moment, only other idea is we just say its a sort yourself jobby and us with BBQs might share but isnt gaurenteed

I'll try to dig my one out, keep forgetting to go to the garage and have a look for it.

They aren't even that expensive, but the only thing that might bug me with a charcoal one in a proper BBQ stand is the disposal of the ashes?

Disposable ones can just be chucked away as a whole can't they.

Let the ashes cool down, cover with water, then bin em!

Plus if you get a coal one can give some heat out for rest of night :)
