I am away to install my new FMIC this weekend, and was needing some advice, what do you do with the oil cooler for the gearbox and steering which looks like it will be in the way of the FMIC

just out of interest mate did you get your fmic specific to the car or did you get it off an evo or some other car for that matter

i bought a custom job off eBay. think it still requires a bit of cutting but main shapes should be there. yeh you can use any core you like, and buy a variaty of piping.

ah right sounds ok, i was told the evo core was the way to go

i will let you know how it goes. i think the guys here would recomend the charge cooler upto about 400bhp before you go with a fmic.

yeh thats probably next thing on the list before i drop the engine. Yeh i know but you would melt the pistons unless have put forged ones in, i think there is a guide somewhere to putting a fmic in.

Yeh i think it would turn to chocolate. Think i will need that as ia int to sure what to do with both those coolers, whether they can be done away with or re-routed
