Toyota Prius - Would you?

I am doing a HNC Course in Business at university and I have to write an assignment on the affects of the Credit Crunch on the sales of the Toyota Prius.

Done! It's not just the credit crunch affecting sales - thanks to cheaper petrol prices in the US, buyers were obviously less worried about fuel costs and sales of the Prius were down 48% in November 2008 from November 2007. Plus there's a new model coming too.

I did your survey and it got me thinking about buying a Prius! I was wondering if the cost to buy a Prius was at all comparable to purchase a normal sedan, so I did some research, and I found that some dealerships are offering great deals on the new 2009 Prius... so much so that I would consider buying one rather than a normal gas-guzzling sedan because they're just about the same price!

Check out these baseline prices at Toyota of Escondido near San Diego... The standard 2009 Prius is only about $23,000!

Or...if you drive a bit closer to the border to El Cajon Toyota, you'll save a hundred bucks because they're all priced around $22,900...
