Brand New Gt 4 Turbo Owner

Hi guys, Just purchased a 1990 GT Four (import), wondering where to go to get the best up grades for suspension, and anything else you can think of as well, will be a rolling project, upgrade as I go along, it needs a rear wish bone and a CV boot that is what it failed its MOT on, but if am going to spend money that way I would rather upgrade all round to start with.

is it the Carlos Sainz model???? its got a plaque near the gear stick, erm id go for a K&N filter, mongoose exhaust, Blitz Supersound BOV, CT20b turbo and lower the car about 40mm (i think i got sax adjustable on mine) and fit 17'' rims

Deffo get it lowered and mebbe uprate the strut bars. :D get a decent set of tyres on her too.

ive just bought some 18'' alloy rims called KONIG unknown and the tyres are 235/40/R18 at the rear and 215/40/R18

Is a dash hard to come by on the gen 5 models?

Shiuldn't be, why? Has it started to come away from the windscreen vents?

I'd try and keep the tire size the same all round, as it's perminant 4wd with a 50/50 split you want to keep unessersary strain off the drive train, not too much of an issue as it's just a differance in width but at the next tire change go for the same size all round

there is a crack on the dash on the passenger side, my problem is am in Northern Ireland and these cars are a bit like hens teeth so parts over here are hard come by also the driver bolster is wore and ripped as well, another thing on my hit list, would love an original seat but it maybe a case for to very nice recaro's to be put in the front lol - but the advice I have been getting has been great so far, I have a mate who is into Turbo'd cars in a big way, his evo 8 is sitting at 412bhp so am getting his advice on where to go to here to get the best remapping and Turbo up grades, as I am completely new to all this lol also exhausts as well, which is the best to get reasonable gains from the car but deliver a lovely note
