Well I say quick, no such thing on white! However you can see its better than it was. Also removed the D-CAT, Toyota and Auris badges, much cleaner and a big, free, improvement imo.

Nice look! Now everybody will think that you own a 1.4 VVTi. But they will have a surprise ... :D

I'm not a fan of white color on cars, but yours looks really nice.

I like it, very nice!

Just wondering how it would look without that Toyota -logo  Been considering to remove it from my Auris...

Best regards, Alex

Yeah I'd like to remove it as well but then it may look a bit weird as its on a raised bit of metal, would be much better if it was completly smooth there imo.

I agree with you, that is the same exact thing which kept me from not doing it yet :D

Made this in a hurry but you can see the difference:

I think the Badge fits on my car as I have lots of chrome/silver: Rear chrome

strip, silencer pipes, rims, antenna... But if you have an Auris which is in the

original condition then it might look more cool without the Badge.

HI MATE HOW DID THE BADGES COME OFF ,WAS IT EASY?

I did remove them by simply pulling them off with my fingers... There is another option too, push the glue a bit with some screwdrived so that the badges will come off more easily. But you'll have to be careful to not to damage the paintwork. It is easy if the screwdriver is small enough... Third option is to warm the badges with a hairdryer first!

Easy way to remove the badges, is to heat them slightly with a hair dryer, and then use nylon fishing line to get behind the Badge and in a see saw type movement cut through the adhesive, then use Auto Glym tar remover or petrol to get the residue off the car, done it loads of times, and never any damage.

The rust on the caps has happened on everyones auris.

Apparent it is normal :s

I de-badged mine too, apart from the t180 Badge.

Yup defo the best way.

However I didnt have a hairdryer or fishing line and I sure as hell aint using a screwdriver! So i just used my hands, hurt a bit as it was 3c! But ts such a new car the glue wasn't too bad, didnt need AG tar remover but I have used that in the past.

The centre Badge will have to stay, I think that looks a bit crap without it. Shame, would love to lose it!

Did debadge Volvo S80 on the last weekend, it had 262 000KMs on the clock, used only my fingers

to remove S80 and the engine capacity badges. It hurt fair enough, and was much more difficult than when

I did it to my Auris. I think it's also because it was spring/summer when I was debadging Auris. I highly

recommend to use a hairdryer and other helpful tools, as your hands may not be enough to get that job done!

Saw an Auris with no rear badges at all, didn't like the look. It's better to keep the Toyota logo, definitely!

Yeah has I thought :( If the area wasnt raised for the Badge then it would be fine but thats just how it is.

Cheers Alex for confirming that

I'm sorry, but what is the reason for removing the badges?

The badges are being removed to achieve a cleaner look and to remove everything unnecessary.

Believe it or not, but in some countries people remove their badges so that the hooligan kids won't

leave scratches on their cars while stealing the badges using inappropriate tools!

P.S. if you're a right kind of guy, you can even achieve some extra horsepower, usually it's around 10 & 20,

but some guys manage to achieve even better power increasement!

Best regards, Alex

I think it looks cleaner and less fussy without them so thats why. Ive now added a very sublte "EVO Magazine" sticker in the rear window so that combined with the debadging means I'm now running 200bhp and 350lbft of torque, much cheaper than a tuning box too ;)

I think the car would look great if you debadged the front, but I checked it today and the plastic behind the Badge is actually moulded that way. It's really stuck in there, not just simply fixed on. :(
