3 Door Rav

Hi

I am new to the site so apologies if this is in the wrong section! I am in process of selling my old banger.

I am looking to buy a post 2000 3 dr Rav4. I can't really go over £5,000. Any members upgrading/selling/changing?

Also - are they heavy on petrol/diesel? I have driven a Freelander and that was a bit too thirsty.

Look forward to hearing. Any feedback would be useful. (I've looked on Autotrader etc)

I'm also looking for one, so get in the queue :)

My wife has an '02 2.0 NRG that gets about 28mpg over a tank. There is a 1.8 version that is front wheel drive only that should/might be a bit better on petrol.

I saw a real cracker in Tesco car park.

I think it was a one owner Harvest Gold and silver on a 54 plate with full dealer service history and 27k on the clock. It was up at six-ish ono but if you want it you will have to come to Derbyshire. Do you want me to get the phone number off it?

Have you tried using the Toyota used car finder ? See link,

http://www.toyota.co.uk/cgi-bin/toyota/bv/...mp;id=used_cars

These are of course Toyota franchised used cars, you could also try PM'ing Parts_King who works for Lindop Toyota and has

nice used Rav's as well. Good luck because the 3 door Ravs seem to be getting a bit of a cult following and no doubt prices

will follow suit.

Hi All

Big thank you to all your replies and comments. It may be that the Rav will be out of my league as far as economy is concerned, which is a real shame as I have dreamed of having one for over a year. I noticed that there was a smart looking silver one for just under £5,000 at Evans Halshaw on the Autotrader site and it's been there for a couple of weeks +. I'm surprised it hasn't gone yet. However, Evans Halshaw had a horrendous review on the web so maybe that's the reason?

Hi

Sounds lovely but Derbyshire is a bit far as I live in the 'Deep South' (south coast) and I couldn't go over £5k thanks for the offer, though. I really appreciate it.
