Topic Final Outcome

I can't help but notice that very few people actually post back to their topics with a final outcome to the problem.

A final posting confirming the solution to the problem would be helpful for other forum users.

It doesn't take many minutes just to say "tried the suggestions but none worked" or "Thanks for the solution, all ok now" or " took it to the garage and this is what they found". Anything along these lines would be nice.

It seems to me that once their problem is solved, they are no longer interested.

I have seen a similar rant by Beagh1958 before in another topic, so, if you want help and post it on here, be good enough to help others and post the final outcome for others to see.

I, for one, will simply stop posting if people don't have the manners to finalise the topic.

Agree 100%. To many one post wonders who never give an update. I use other forums & always seem to get some sort of reply good or bad but still a reply.

I think points you made in regards to no feedback ( may be construded as a lack of manners ) have been well proven by the small number of postings in regards to your posting.

It is always pleasant (and good forum ettiquette) to bring any posts asking a question to a satisfactory conclusion
