Avensis Fuel Filter Change

Can anyone help me with instructions on changing the fuel filter on my 2006 Avensis d4d colour collection

Can anyone help me with instructions on changing the fuel filter on my 2006 Avensis d4d colour collection

hello

1. to be drained diesel from filter housing;

2. to be unscrewed upper lid having held housing;

3. to be removed housing with filter insert;

4. to be cleanned both upper lid and housing inside;

5. to be installed new O-rings;

6. to be insert new filter insert;

7. to be assembled filter having paid max attention on the joining with O-rings (to prevent their damage);

8. to be tighted central tie bolt;

9. to be unscrewed air escape screw/bolt located on the upper lid;

10. to be manually pumped the booster pump unless a pure duesel appeared from an air escape screw;

11. to be screw in (tight) air escape screw;

12. to be cleanned diesel remainders;

13. to be cranked/started engine;

14. to be manually reved up the engine to remove minor air from the injection circuit.

15. to be drunk a beer after have been satisfied :D

Great instructions but you missed one thing if he does not know how to change the filter he properly does not know where it is located. :thumbsup:

Thanks a lot mate....for the dogs info i do know where it is situated but it really is in an awkward place.....thanks again ;)
