Rev 5 Spoiler On A Rev 1

you weed need old holes filled and new holes made.

Any decent bodyshop should be able to do this for you.

Or just get a rev3 bootlid... same mounting holes ( i think )

Thinking of having the car blown over in a few months, may do it then. Cos it looks much nicer i think!

Yes, the rev3, 4 & 5 all have the same mounting holes in the boot.

What about ariel position too?

If it was off the the bodyshop anyway I might be inclined to lose the ariel altogether, maybe use one of the ones that you can mount on the rear screen?

Completely off the top of my head, I think they're around £300-£500 from Toyota.

Far too much, so you'd be best of looking on eBay, online scrappies or Fensport or somewhere...

I think the position is different not sure. If you need a new ariel just buy those smaller rubber ones(like mobile antennas) I like them better.

right, lets just say i had a rev5 spoiler but my cars a rev 2.

Rev5 spoiler like the rev3/4 spoiler has four different fixture points so ull have to drill four new holes. Youll then have to fill the other holes (I think theres like 6+ of them on rev1/2).

Then theres the ariel. I dunno bout that. Plus your gonna have to spray over the existing area where the filling took place of course.

AND fill in the old holes from your rev1 or rev2 spoiler, as already stated in this thread.

if you get a different boot lid (rev3 + ) the rev5 spoiler will fit.

PS : if you find a rev5 spoiler let me know.... I'm on the hunt also !!
