I'm Losing My Hair Over This!

Right been shopping around for a full service on my car (Corolla SR 2.0 D-4D) I still get it serviced by the main dealer as its under warranty with them...

... but to my horror this morning I recieved a scary quote of £300 for a 40k service!!! I'm no expert on cars, but that does seem somewhat steep maybe someone on here could justify why its so much and if its worth staying with them to get it done or have it done at a mates garage?

Not at all the same thing, & slightly off topic

I gave the back of my car a gentle tip when reversing out of a tight spot on Sunday. Today I noticed that the clip holding the rear trim had broken & the trim had dropped slightly. :censor:

I went to the Garage I always use, showed it & they put it up on the ramp & drilled & screwed it. Good as new. I left all my tools behind when I sold my Business :(

I asked them how much I owed & Owner's wife said "That's OK, Victor, we'll get you the next time " Only a small thing but very good for their reputation
