hi all . glad to be a member. just getting round to doing my 185 up after a year of neglect.

fell in love with the shape of this model and love the ease of drive and handling.

would love to keep it and modify it. (sacrilige ) i know but found this wicked wide body kit for it and would bring the styling bang up to date.

as money will allow , would like to hike power up to bout 300bhp but a reliable 300bhp, so please give as many tips as possible. engine wise,, what gaskets, bolts, rods, pistons and fuel management, how well does this engine work with water injection, best turbo to use for fastest spool up and less lag. what would be the difference in supercharging this engine. do i need to uprate the diffs.

thanks all and hope to hear some good responces and probably meet at some events. :D

Hello and welcome to TOC. :toast:

thanks matie, :D will try to get the car ready by then but a lot to do to get it right.

hopefully with the help and advise from other members i will do a good job.

fell in love with the shape of the st185 gt4 a while ago when everyone was going subaru crazy.

but have just got round to owning one. had a long love afair with a big jap , in a british body. the rover vittesse. 24v v6 honda jewel.

then turned my attention to a mid life crisis car, and at the ripe old age of 42, still can't get the bug out the system and the lead out of my boots. :D

once again .. thanks for the welcome.
