I Q Test

While waiting for my car to be service and to kill a bit of time I decided to check out the new IQ. The white model on display looked quite funky, quirky, smart (oops! no reference) and quite tidy. The finish was excellent and the interior looked smart (sorry) without being too plasticy with comfortable looking seats.

Then I sat in it............................Bloody awful!!!!!

I'm only average height (5-10) but my head was brushing the roof, the only way to get clearance and see out of the windscreen without having to stoop was to lay the seat right back. I know I drive a two seat sports car that some would deem to be on the compact side but I felt really claustrophobic when sitting in the IQ, Anne's Aygo is positively cavernous in comparison.

Not my cup of tea I'm afraid. :(

I’m assuming you didn’t change the driver’s seat height adjustment? I’m taller than you and I found there was plenty of head room when I sat in one. Any car with the drivers seat set too high means I have to bend my neck to one side, I always have to have the seat set as low as possible

I had a look and couldn't see one, that isn't to say there wasn't one though ;)

Even if it was lower I still didn't like the position but that's just personal choice.

It won't be that hard when some of us can't even adjust the seats...........
