First Day With My Iq

picked up my iQ this afternoon and so far have done 160 miles.

first impressions where feels very solid and the doors shut with a nice thud.

had a dreaded scratch and top of drivers door trim, it does appear the brown plastic is easily scratched, found autoglym bumper care hid it the best applied with a micro fibre cloth.

got the glove bad which is rather funky and handy extra storage.

mpg is way off its now on 53mpg was hoping in the 60s really at around 60mph its doing high 50s so how Toyota got 72mpg is beyond me.

ice sounds great but a little tricky to operate with the steering wheel controller, but i do wish the display was bigger and dot matrix instead of segments, it only display 8 characters of song title from a mp3 CD.

one thing I did notice that you can dim the speedo and multi function display, press mode till you see dotted lines then hold down mode from desired brightness.

the under seat storage is great but a A4 map wont fit but does fit in door pockets which are quite spacious

Looks lovely, thanks for info about dimming speedo etc, well handy. That owners handbook is FAR too much to read unless you have insomnia!
