where do I start -

angle grinder

paint them gold

paint them grey so they merge in with the sky?

Large screwdriver and a wrench?

extend them so it looks like a rollover cage

mount a gun on them and pretend your.......no maybe not

or a locksmith?? Do they live in Crumlin jail or is that shut now

Very nice  If you are not planning using the roof bars again, I would drill the locks.

Thats probably what a locksmith would do to start with anyway before replacing the locks.

Edit, probably shouldn't say this on here  but do you have access to a sliding hammer ?

If yes, put a big self tapper in the end of it, screw the whole thing into the lock and it should come

out in one hit.

Hi Lisa

Spare key is in the post as of yesterday... you should receive it Monday/Tuesday. If the bars have been on the car for some time, you may have to give the key slots a blast of WD40 to enable them to work. Once you have 'turned' the key, you just pull the grey plastic side lever down which actions a canterlever releasing the claw from the roof bar... then just wiggle it off. The bars are worth keeping even if you don't intend to leave them on; as the 3dr Rav is a bit short in the body they are useful for transporting long items. :)

All the best... DaveH
