CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY I HAVE A SERIOUS MISFIRE AND HESITATION STARTING AROUND 2000RPM AND GETTING WORSE TILL AROUND 3000RPM?

more specifically.. car runs fine when cold but SOON AS ITS WARM it is hunting and surging on idle, hesitant, missing and under powered , most noticeably around 3000rpm. checked plugs, dizzy, leads, coil etc, !

unable to check diagnostics as had haltec ecu fitted.

hoping somebody can give me answers or solution as i want to avoid replacing components till its cured.

When you say you've checked all ignition components, does that mean you have changed them?????,

oops just read you haven't, first port of call is to change components, start with the cheapest!!

Always worth chucking a set of plugs in no need to go with expensive stuff a regular NGK grade 7 will do i think it is the bcpr7es but don't quote me.

next onto dizzy cap and rotor arm, always worth changing because rev3 turbos eat these anyway,

check for any split hoses, hoses not secured properly, anywhere boost can leak/vacuum leak...

It's always hard to diagnose these problems without seeing the car.
