Hi can some one please tell me where the egr valve is on my d4d 20 litre 2004 model is as i would like to take it off and clean it as i loose power now and again :unsure:

Think you may find that you have two ? electronically controlled EGR valves fitted to your vehicle, one at front of engine below inlet manifold & i think the second is located to rear of engine underneath ducting and various other pipes leading to turbo unit. Not cheep to replace if you find they are at fault ie: maybe stuck open, so good luck with cleaning.
