Celica Gen 6 Alloys

Hi everyone,

I've had a look through the forum but couldn't find an answer to this. Does anyone know what size alloys you can go up to on a Celica? Is 18" the maximum without needing to modify anything else on the car? Sorry if this has been answered somewhere I have scoured Google etc..

Thanks!

I've seen 19's on a Gen 6 without any Wheel Arch modification, Tyres are 215/35/19 on 7.5" wide Rims.

I also know of a ST202 show car with 20", but don't know if they fitted straight on.

That is wonderful news. I'll be honest I'd love to put 19's on. I saw a picture of a black Gen 6 with black 19's on but couldn't find anywhere that said whether serious modification was required to accomplish this. My plan to create my dream car is now firmly set in stone.

Thanks for your reply I really appreciate it.

You might struggle to find a set that is only 7.5" wide, the vast majority are wider than that and would require at least a 225 width tyre.

Of course, the larger the rolling radius, the more the performance will suffer. Good luck in finding a set that's 7.5".
