Thinking Of Purchasing An Iq2 - Best Deal?

Recommended Posts

Hi There

Today my husband & I went out looking for a car and came across the IQ We are looking for something more economical than our current Mazda Bongo. We could purchase the IQ2 for the following do you think its a good deal or is it worth shopping around?

IQ Auto £11,495 + White metallic finish £370 =£11,865

+ £930 for the SATNAV

+ £245 for the style finish

= £13040

We managed to get some mats & a full tank of petrol thrown in.

We are still a bit undecided if this is the best small car option but it does look good!

Thank you

Deborah

Wait until July when the 1.33 6 speed with Stop/Start comes out and it may have sorted the door panels out by then. You could do a deal now for delivery when it comes out.

Save £800 and buy a TomTom, I have the TNS300 in my Yaris and is now out of date, the disc is almost 5 years old and a TomTom is cheaper than a new DVD sat nav disc

I have to agree with TVOR, although there is always going to be something new just round the corner...

The sat nav is certainly overpriced.

Thank you I agree & I do already have a Tom Tom Go I just liked the fact it had a USB port so I could plug my iPhone in but too much money for just that!!

I haven't seen any prices for the new !.33 but can hang on. Will it come in an automatic version?

Geneva Preview: New Toyota iQ 1.33 with 100HP 1.3-liter Engine

Beginning from July, Toyota’s iQ will be offered in Europe with a new 100HP 1.33-liter Dual VVT-i 4-cylinder petrol engine. Featuring a Stop & Start system as standard, using the standard six-speed manual transmission.

Buyers can also opt for Toyota’s Multidrive semi-automatic transmission. If it’s anything like the new Yaris, the Multimode has a paddle shift system on the steering wheel.

Just want to comment in defence of the original Toyota navigation system, which I have in my IQ, and it's definitely worth it! First of all, it is Micro-SD card based, so no more hassling with discs, it works a treat, can even enter destination by telephone number. It also comes with fully built-in telephone capabilities (the microphone is neatly added around the steering wheel, almost not visible. Sound quality is great. It can play mp3 files straight from the USB stick you can plug into the sat.nav directly. And of course, you can operate radio/CD/MP3/nav all with touch-screen, so no fiddling around with the little buttons on the steering wheel to programme stations. Best of all, it looks great in the car!

I second those wise words! I think the addition of the navigation also nicely finishes off the dash B)
