Ive seen some Toyota Corolla GPS systems on eBay (type in toyota gps). I wondered if any would fit a Toyota Auris and if not if anything else will fit.

Thanks John.

Why don't you use Search before posting a new thread? This has been discussed many times, but then again it's easier to post your question and wait for somebody to use the search and do you job and give you the answer!

Aw! C'mon guys, don't be so harsh. What sort of welcome is that?

He's only just joined. Give him a break. Maybe he's not so experienced with these type of forums as some of us - at least give him the benefit of the doubt, we've all been there at some point or another.

I do get your point Yoga, but it's just... I did allready welcome him and gave him a link to the most useful GPS topic on Auris forum where all the information about GPS/DVD systems is!

But still, he's creating new topic to ask the same question again...? Of course it's ok for me and I'm ready to forgive people, but as my mate Auris 1.6 vvt-i gave some feedback to John, I had to support him! He's my mate and I had same opinion about this thing, and that's when you have to support your mates :) You'd have done the same thing, wouldn't you Yoga ;)

Best regards, Alex

Thanks Alex.

The reason for my reaction is that there is a huge thread on the topic - it has been discussed for so long, people have made the effort to gather the information and put it in one place. It's annoying when somebody comes along and without making any effort (not even reading only the topics on the first couple of pages), wants to get all he needs. When I'm new to a forum, or a company, or whatever, I first read and listen, trying to figure out how are things going around, getting familiar with the rules of the place and trying to blend in. If he had made the effort to go through the first few pages, he would have found answers to more question he would have ever come up with. On the other hand, having a bunch of similar topics, makes the search functionality ineffective, because when somebody uses it, he will get a ton of results, not knowing where to start. And last, but not least - for no one here, answering to the topics is a full time job, nobody gets paid for that and is doing it from its good will, so it's totally not cool, when someone is abusing the readiness of the others to help. We are going to help, but not going to do his job.

Hope I haven't offended anyone.

Best regards,

Svet
