Hi There, Im Having Problems Locating The Starter to an 1980 Corolla Wagon, My Dad Wants to put it in Manually but he doesnt know where it is, Is there anyone that could locate a Diagram or something that he could look at, or maybe someone could tell me how to install one.. I have no clue, so I have no idea where to look, and well.. hehe He doesnt know how to turn on a computer :ffs:

Here what happens,

There's power everywhere, but when its being started all you hear is a click and sometimes smoke comes out of the postitive cable mount at the Battery.

You help would be most appretiated

It's under the exhaust manifold on an 80 corolla. You must first disconeect the exhaust pipe from the manifold, then remove the manifold from head, starter will be easy to access then.

If you decide to repair it I'll tell you how..
