Amplified Subwoofer On Auris

Is it possible to connect an amplified subwoofer (active subwoofer) to the stock head unit or i have to buy an aftermarket head unit?

As far as I know you will need to get an after market one. But I have seen a thread on here talking about a connector for extra Speakers..

I just went the easy way and changed everything.

I have used this website before and they are very good and helpful, I would advise that you only need a 10" sub unless you want to shake the windows out.
