How To Fit Wing Mirror Glass?

or even how to take off the wing mirror glass? found my passenger mirror cracked when i returned to my car! bought a new one but i dont know how to take off the current one since its cracked im scared it might snap while still on the unit..

anyone help?

Fitted one not long ago... It literally pops off, so use something to lever it. The glass is attached to a small wire (for heating elements) so becareful of that when the glass comes off.

Then realign the clips when you are ready to install new glass and just pop it back in.

lever out the glass? it might snap though...is there a way to take out the cover?

Well thats how i did it, with "gentle persuation". :)

Not sure that you are suppose to open the cover, the glass is I THINK designed to be levered out.

ah right, what you use to lever it out? i tried using my fingers by pushing it glass one side so i can stick my fingers in.

Use a screwdriver but wear goggles for defo and should probably put some gloves on just in case
