Just picked up my IQ 2 with leather seats today and have noticed a hideous rattling sound coming from the back of the car at low revs and small bumps this evening. I've located it and its the driver side back seat. When I drop it down the niose is gone!! Has anyone else had this issue along with a strange buzzing sound when you put the the air circulate on? Very disappointed with the Toyota will call tomorrow.

No cant say I have had this problem. The only noise i had was last night, a knocking sound in the back, but it was just the seatbelt was loose and not secured in the holder thing, from where i had just had a passenger.

Not had the buzzing either.

Hope you get it sorted, Sal

Well took to the garage this morning, the latter noise had stopped, so I didn't bring it up. While on the other front, the tech told me the clip wasn't clipping on properly. He took the car away and came back 10 mins later saying he had fixed it. He has... with some tape to thicken the bar the clip fixes on. i am very disapointed for a 'premium' car. :(

Not picked mine up yet but borrowed the demo car for the afternoon yesterday and found the irritating noise stopped when the kids got out. (sorry couldn't resist) I'm guessing as the cars are new out many will have some form of glitch but as we are under warranty just keep going back with the car until satisfied the more it happens the more info goes back to the manufacturer and less cars should come out with the same problems. best wishes for a happy solution. :)

I'm taking the car back in now as other side is now rattling away, hopefully they can work there magic with tape again!!

Picked mine up yesterday and I suffered a bad rattle all the way back from the garage. I found that the back seats were up and if you just pull them up so the clip that holds them upright just clips over normally the seats when pushed back and forth rattle.

If however you allow the seat to clip onto place and then gently push the clip down the rattle stops. So when pulling my seat up I just need to remember to push the clip down.

This might be the issue you have ??

Hi Gold, this did not fix my problem, dealers called back today and say they have received bulletin from toyota, stating that this is now a known and recognised problem, so I am taking it in and they will be realigning the seats. Fingers crossed this works. I really like the car wish they had sorted out these kinds of bugs during product testing, will also have a look at my gear box....

Not a seat rattle issue, but I have had since day 1 a very light "tap" type noise coming from the front (we think) which goes away when the interior warms up.

It is not mechanical or anything to worry about, just annoying until it stops.

It must be a trim panel type issue expanding when warm and stops moving and making the noise.

I have put various bits of felt under the odd places but so far the fix has eluded me , but I WILL get to the bottom if it!

Had the same trouble with the Aygo, which went away when the interior warmed up.

If anyone else has solved this please let me know how!

It is more of an amusement than a real problem.

I have the exact same thing! had it with my aygo too! tap tap tap from the dash....then when the car is heated up, it stops.

Bizarre.

the dash is starting to develop rattles all over.....that centre panel is a nightmare for it!
