I wouldn't recommend removing two wheels at once with only one jack... unless you use axle stands to support the car, if you get it wrong you could find yourself crippled or dead. If you have two trolley jacks just use the side jacking points, you can protect the bodywork of the jacking points with a sutiable piece of wood (being carefull to get it to sit properly) even then it is still advisable to use axle stands for safety reasons.

On the stock suspension if you use the standard jacking points you cannot get two wheels off the ground.

Why can't you just take one off and put the spare in its place?

That's an option. Paul but I was hoping to get 2 off without having to get the spare out and the extra jacking up & down.

To give them a good clean including the backs of them prior to polishing and paint sealing.

And the more obvious application : rotating the wheels.

Normally the advice is to rotate opposite corners, so you are going to have to get all four off the ground.

Axle stands required I think.

I can only rotate the wheels front to back, s my tyres are directional thread....

But I usually "rotate" them when switching betwee summer and winter tyres,

so I only need one wheel off of the ground at one time :D
