Auris Sr Spec

I called at my local Toyota dealer yesterday and looked at a couple of new Auris SR that were on offer. I noticed that they were ony 5 speed gearboxes on them instead of 6, they were both 2.0 Deisel and 2009 models. Does anyone know why toyota have changed this as the SR is not listed on their website as having a 5 speed gearbox?

All Auris 2.0 Diesels are 6 speed.

You may have looked at the 1.4 diesel? Both diesels have the 'D4-D' Badge, so it almost impossible to see.

The 2.0 Diesel is not available in SR trim for the 6 speed 2009 model. From what I can see, the only SR spec you can get now is the 2.2 in the SR180.

M Mike must be meaning the SR's of the Blue Moon offer. These are new cars (2009), but 2008 models. Hence they are not in the new March pricelist.

And yes, the SR is not offered in the UK in the updated version (6 speed for all engines + new/updated engines).

Where is the D4-D Badge? I have Toyota (LHS) and Auris + red SR (RHS) at the back.

Sorry - it seems the SR doesn't have the D4-D Badge on right side of the boot. It has 'SR' instead.

Does the SR even come with the 1.4 Diesel? The 1,6 does not have 6 speed - only the 2 liter diesel.

All finnish-sold diesels have D-4D Badge back, D-CAT has tiny TOYOTA D-CAT -badges under side repeaters. My D-CAT is so low, that she scrapes every rocks on the road that I don't see some SR (even lower) as an alternative.
