Sadly any claim is unlikely to be successful.... I would bet that Toyota are going to say it is fair wear and tear :(

It will depend on how old the car is and how many miles you have done.

The carpet should stand up to 3 years 60K without getting a hole in it, I think it will be covered, HOWEVER most major trim items have to have prior authorisation before it can be done, so pop into your dealer and let them see/photo the problem first

And take off your stilettos when you go...

How about the genuine "foam backed" Toyota mats. How long should they last?

My Yaris drivers side mat has a hole in it at 2.5 years 33K miles  :(

The best mats I’ve ever had are rubber ones from Aldi. Cost £5 for a set of four, still in use today and as good as when I bought them. I put them over the genuine Toyota carpet mats. Keep an eye out on the Aldi web site for the next lot they sell, because when they’re gone, they’re gone

You been wearing your heels when driving Steve?

The cars main carpet is covered for 3 years 60K

Accessory carpets are 1 year unlimited mileage

If your set are 2.5 years old, you need a new set
