I am expecting a New Verso in May

It has Parking sensors

How can I disable the rear ones when tand reversing a caravan?

YES you can ask to have the optional cut off switch fitted. Make sure you ask or it will not come with one

My SR spec had the switch as standard, I didn't specifically request one.

If you stand at the back of the car and face forward, on the left hand side under the plastic trim (that you remove to store the boot cover) you will find a switch. Details of how to enable and disable the sensors are in the owners handbook.

Mine has a button on the dash to turn them off, it's to the left of the hazard switch at the top in this pic

Only the newer verso's come with this type of sensor/switch fitted.

Older type will have the older sensor kit/switch :)
