You should do Fuelly like some of us are doing Anne (see my sig) as it records your mpg monthly and gives you an average based on those figures.

I'm quite happy with my 45.5mpg avg, yeah it could be better, but my drive to work is very stop-start for half the journey so it's understandable!

My best av. mpg has been 39.1 after a long motorway trip :(

My Aygo with multimode transmission has done about 3500 kilometers and the fuel consumption has been quite good. On average 5,3 litres per 100 kilometers which is around 53 mpg I think. Driving is on mixed roads, on the city and on motor ways with speed limit now 100 kilometer per hour, in the summer it will go to 120.

The worst consumption has been so far 5,9 l/100km which is about 48 mpg. This was with lots of snow and very cold temperatures.

I have been using Road Trip Lite app on iPhone to keep track, very nice app and free.

And this is with quite cold winter weather in Finland so the car has been cold and I do not have electric heating to warm it up. I am waiting improved mileage when the weather warms up. So I am very pleased with Aygo. B)
