Alright

Gotta Celica 2003 140 premium.

the engine management light stays on but doesnt seem to be causing any sort of issue.

it passes its MOT with a code saying its 2nd idle emissions was kinda high, anyone had an issue like this before?

been told it could be lambda sensor but not sure?

Any feedback much appreciated.

Cheers

You'd be better off finding someone who has a fault code reader who can find out what the actual fault is causing the light to stay on.

Bad lambda sensor at a guess...

I'd the same problem this week and it turned out it was the mass airflow sensor even tho I'd no difference in performance, the guy just wiped it with the code reader and touch wood, the lights stayed out so far.

As above, could be an airflow sensor fault being cacked up or it could be an oxygen sensor fault. They also have trouble with the CAT convertor and ECU. Best to get it properly diagnosed.
