must be a record this, only had it 3 weeks but today I traded it in for a yaris sr 1.33 got a good deal only lost £950

iQ has been a great car but the constant gear changing is doing my head in, any slight incline its down to 4th or 3rd, it would not be see bad if I get high 50s mpg but I am only getting mid 40s

its a pity the 1.33 is not out yet i bet that would be great but don't want to wait for that

I get my yaris in a week

I have some rubber mats in e bay if any one is interested

hope you all have fun times in your iQ and see you over in the yaris forum

now for some final pictures

That must be a record! The SR Yaris (2009) looks like a great car, have you had a test drive? To be honest the new Yaris will be as cheap to run in my opinion as the iQ, and you get more space. What colour are you getting?

sorry but the IQ does not look right, looked at one today, it looks like half a brick on over size wheels, back end nice, front, ugly

You lost a grand in three weeks??

I know that's probably the VAT equivalent but I'd be proper annoyed to lose that much money in only 3 weeks of ownership.....

The wheels just don’t look right on the iQ, it would be better to see one with lower profile tyres and better looking alloys.

I didn't lose quite as much. Cancelled my order 4 weeks ago - lost £250 deposit.

Was due to register it on 1 March but head overruled heart at last minute and decided to keep Aygo Blue.

Good luck to the rest of you.

I am sorry you traded in but as long as you are happy that is all that matters. What does surprise me is people test drove these so surely you knew about the power & gear changes? I went for miles in the test car up hills & a dual carriageway etc & noticed it slowed on a steep incline but after a Mini I expected this & was happy to still buy it. Even all the reviews have said it is underpowered.

Yaris is nice, enjoy! :driving:

TBH any new car will not be as fuel efficient as possible till it has about 9000 miles on it. although engines are pretty much run in from the factory now a days they still need miles to bed everything in. over £900 in 3 weeks aint good though
