I know ppl have asked this question before but im someone who's only ever used magnetic oil so was wondering if anyone here can tel me if the MAGNETEC EDGE SPORTS 0-40w(for performance engine) is good for my gen 140bhp. Or would anyone recommend something else. Any advice will be much appriciated as this is the 1st time im servicing my celica. It was last serviced at 30k, it has now done 46k.

Ideally you want a 5w-40 for your Celica.

The Silkolene Pro S and Motul 300V are absolute top end oils, but you pay for it. The Fuchs Supersyn and Motul 8100 X-Cess are very good cheaper alternatives. As its not heavily modified, you don't need to go for a 10w-50.

0/40 will be a good one... you can go for it.. it will surely meet the requirements of your car even surpass it

You will always get lots of conflicting advice on which Oil. A 0W40 or 5W40 F/S exceeds the requirements for the VVTi. Toyota recommend a 5W30, which is what I use (either Millers XSS or Magnatec).
